Avokadų Duona/ Avocado Bread

Pagal/ Source IAmFoodBlog

Produktai:

1 stiklinė miltų
0,5 a.š. kepimo miltelių
0,5 a.š. kepimo sodos
0,25 a.š. cinamono
Žiupsnelis druskos
0,25 stiklinės sviesto, kambario temperatūros
0,5 stiklinės cukraus
1 didelis kiaušinis
0,25 a.š. vanilės ekstrakto
0,5 stiklinės sutrinto avokado (1 vidutinis avokadas)
1 a.š. žaliosios citrinos sulčių

Gaminimo procesas:

I tried the banana bread many times and I love it for breakfast or as a snack (especially toasted with a bit of butter.. yummy). But avocado bread was something new to me.
After I tried I can see that the difference is that avocado bread is not as moist as banana bread. And I have to admit that I liked the avocado bread even more than banana, so I would definitely recommend to double the ingredients and make a normal size bread.

Products:

1 cup flour
0,5 tsp baking powder
0,5 tsp baking soda
0,25 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
0,25 cup butter, room temperature
0,5 cups sugar
1 large egg
0,25 tsp vanilla extract
0,5 cup mashed avocado (1 medium avocado)
1 tsp lime juice

Method:

Preheat the oven to 160-170C. Line a small form with baking paper.

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In another bowl, beat together butter and sugar until fluffy and light. Mix in the egg and vanilla, then add avocado and lime juice. Mix everything well. Gently mix in the flour mixture, try not to overmix.

Transfer the dough into a baking dish and bake for about 35-45 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted comes out with only few crumbs. Cool completely, slice and serve.
